Property for sale Lisbon Coast, Portugal – Ericeria, Estoril Coast, Sesimbra

Situated on the north banks of the River Tagus, the charm of Lisbon exists in its strong links to the past; renovated palaces, magnificent churches and an impressive castle mirror the city's rich cultural heritage. Its eclectic blend of neighborhoods, culture and architecture distinguish this capital city uniquely from the other European capitals and make it a truly fascinating and comprehensive city to visit.

Dominated by Lisboa, with its huge choice of places to visit, from monuments and museums to a vast cultural calendar and all types of entertainment, this area provides different landscapes, traditions and diversions, in spite of the rapid urbanization around the capital. It also boasts the wooded slopes of Sintra, with its beautiful palaces and parks, leading to the rugged coastline which faces the Atlantic.

Beach-lovers can choose between the more sophisticated and cosmopolitan Cascais and Estoril, full of bars and discotheques, to the long stretches of sand in Costa da Caparica or to fishing towns like Ericeira, which still keeps some of its old traditions.

Sesimbra is a charming example, with its sheltered bay and narrow steep streets. It is a popular holiday resort, in Summer, and lies on the slopes of Serra da Arrábida, where a natural park was established in a small range of mountains. Here you can enjoy a wild and beautiful landscape, where birds and shrubs and trees thrive, and, on the southern slopes, spectacular views over a limpid sea.
