Despite the small size of the village, the fishing harbour is charmingly busy, as is the nearby boat-yard. Nearby are the ruins of watchtowers at Torre de Bias, Cumeada and Alfanxia, as are the Olheiros springs, whose waters are reputed to have richly therapeutic effects.
Beyond the village, Fuzeta has some of the most wondrous beaches in the Algarve with regular boat trips along the coast during the summer season.
