Set in a rolling landscape and comprising extensive water features, the course requires a good deal of care and skill. Accuracy is paramount, especially on approach shots. |

The signature hole of Colina Verde is hole two. This is the longest hole on the course (about 300 yards), has a dog-legged fairway and lies adjacent to 200 yards of water-feature on the right hand side. |

Also worth a mention is the 5th green on a small peninsula (the tee is on substantially higher ground) and the 9th tee which is on an island accessed by a small bridge. |
