Las Terrenas

With the opening of a brand new International Airport, El Catey, located 30 minutes from Las Terrenas this year and the construction of a new highway coming in from Santo Domingo, the capital city, cutting traveling time down to 1 hour and 30 minutes, Las Terrenas has seen a boom in Tourism and much attention by local authorities and large international investors. 

Unspoiled white-sandy beaches, coconut-covered mountains, clear mountain streams winding through lush, tropical rain forests, vibrant coral reefs, internationally known whale-watching and many other attractions, a destination of adventure is awaiting your discovery.

Las Terrenas has a very interesting mix of cultures and nationalities where you never know which language will be spoken, but you can always be sure to get a genuine French croissant, a fabulous gourmet Italian pasta, and a Japanese Sushi dish to die for.
