How stable are the price-levels in Algarve on property?

Answer:
Generally speaking, the levels are quite stable and have steadily increased from the mid-nineties until 2008, where the World credit crisis hit us all. Before then, the last dip in prices was around 1990, where we had the last cyclical, general financial dip. Due to its small size and strict rules on development and construction, the Algarve holds the value for money level very well. Inside some of the well-known developments such as Quinta Do Lago and Vale do Lobo, the price-levels even stands up to the largest swings in the general economy.
Here you do not find the vast over-built areas like you will in other destinations, so there is always a health balance between supply and demand. “L”
